A beautiful, ethereal conveyance of loneliness.
rock acoustic folk female country contemporary
Artist picture
Annie Eidolon plays an eclectic mix of original acoustic songs ranging from folk to rock and everything in between.
Annie Eidolon has been a singer/songwriter since age 14 when she picked up a guitar and wrote her first song... since that day, just as many famous songwriters before her, Annie has used songwriting as a kind of therapy, helping her through the tough times, and rejoicing in the happy times of her life. She artfully sculpts music and words into beautiful works and further embellishes them with the sound of her voice, her guitar and other sounds that surround her.

Story behind the song

Lyrics
Rain; silver drops of sadness falling from the sky. Pain; screaming rage of madness growing in my mind. Loneliness, emptiness, overwhelm my happiness. Misery, entropy, reign in my soliloquy. Night; veil of darkened dreams of brighter days gone by. Light; blinding, white fire burning fever in my eyes. Loneliness, emptiness, overwhelm my happiness. Misery, entropy, reign in my soliloquy. Soliloquy, monotony. Monopolize integrity. Speaking monologically; Dramatize soliloquy. Loneliness, emptiness, overwhelm my happiness. Misery, entropy, reigh in my soliloquy.

The production certainly first rate. The production perfectly supported this song and carried the mood throughout the entire peace. The chord progression was pleasing yet supported the song's message of loneliness. Lyrics were clear and straightforward so I could get the message. Guitar finger picking was real good. Vocals were over the top with the penetrating and pleasing tone. Background vocals support was well done and added to song in a most positive way. Bob Burnopp
