Story behind the song
This was a collaborative effort with Mr. Alex Hogson from musicianwars.com. I only played fretless bass over this song which Alex did the rest. Alex named it 'Cold', but I never asked him why. It took on a new name over time (Of Dead Roots Mourned); I didn't ask ;) When it plays, I kind of envision a solitary existence; maybe over a wintery landscape. You can hear the icicles falling (at the beginning). The soloing lines by Alex are very melodic and technical; wonderful harmonies and tones. This is followed by a fretless solo by yours truly; again in the background you can hear icicles falling to an icy surface. I've got chills! Song was released October 29th, 2002.
