A few years back, I accidentally programmed the "wrong" sample on my sampler and it ended up sounding like an abysmal bass sound. I had trouble getting that sample out of my head so I decided to make a mix out of it... It was actually the best mistake, if there ever was one, that I have ever made... This is already the second attepmt to re-creating the original (the first one was in my old computer and it crashed, I didn't have backup), take it from me, this sounds way better than the original.
