Story behind the song
Rainforests play an invaluable role in sustaining life on Earth. Extending from the colder climates of Alaska and Chile to the tropics of South America, Africa and Asia, rainforests provide a critical habitat for many of the Earth's plant and animal species. I went after that vibe with the flutes and xylophone, and added my own brand of jungle music with the electric guitars. The piece builds up to a less sedate pace, to show that even in the deep wilderness, there is movement and direction. The song inevitably settles to nightfall to a mood of rest and relaxation; but NOT for all tho. Song was released June 10th 2002.
