Melvin Thornapple and the Prickly Thorns are a reflection of the odd and absurd in the world. Melvin the Thorns are a Colorado/California/Mars based trio. The group consists of Melvin, Jeff, and Eric, with the three of them co-writing and performing all songs. The only interesting aspect of this collaboration is that Melvin has as of yet never shown up. Therefore even though the band is called Melvin Thornapple and the Prickly Thorns, they should really be called Melvin Thornapple and the Prickly Thorns minus Melvin.

Flossy and Jack were a couple of kids who wanted to be stars one day so they packed up their car, drank two cans of Jolt and soon they were both on their way now Jack was allergic to all kinds of things including all the caffeine so he drank a Jolt cola and had a reaction and soon he became quite mean poor Flossy was stupid a bimbo of sorts and she didn't notice Jack's budging eyes so when Jack pulled out his shotgun and blew off her head poor Flossy was really surprised she wanted to tell Jack that she was upset but poor Flossy couldn't utter a sound she sat in her seat silent and quite perplexed her head was nowhere to be found Jack put down the shotgun he had his release and drove calmly for some 50 miles then he looked at poor Flossy saw her head missing and he pondered the sight for awhile now Jack was a thinker a genuine Einstein and that smooth talking guy finally said now Flossy stay calm but your head is missing and your pretty white dress is all red poor Flossy just sat there she was getting frustrated as she twiddled her thumbs and tapped her feet she wanted to look Jack right in the face, but her eyes were smashed in the street Jack too tapped his feet for he was upset he finally voiced his frustration he said to Flossy I insist you put back your head because like this you are boring in conversation poor Flossy realized that Jack didn't know it was he who had blown her head away now it was clear even to Flossy the message that she had to say poor Flossy figured out how to tell Jack as she raised her hand with her palm towards her chest she lowered three fingers and tucked back her thumb and well I just you know the rest
