Story behind the song
This was a collaborative effort with Mr. Carter Biel (Casper Bolte) from Texas USA.; one serious progressive rock enthusiast and a good friend. Story line: right off the blocks the Hare is bouncing all over the place, fast as he can. Running up the path, back down the path. Taunting the poor Tortoise with his massive speed advantage. Then the Tortoise takes over and plods along at a nice even pace. Whistling merrily along the path enjoying the scenery as the Hare pauses to rest and regain his breath. Then the Hare takes off again in a cloud of dust. Yehaaa! Low and behold, at the end of the race both The Tortoise and the Hare finish. MORAL: Shred is wonderfully good fun, but sometimes you have to stop and smell the rose of a beautiful melody. Song was released December 21st 2001.
