Story behind the song
The last of the E songs...There is an acoustic version of this song but it doesn't capture the desperation I was looking for. E & T, and Summer Days were both recorded on a Fostex 4 track cassette. They were dubed off onto a high end digital video camera and later into Cakwalk...You know when the creative shit comes you gotta get it down on whatever's available to you. I could never quite got the right feeling when I re-recorded them so I stayed with the demo takes. Sometimes songs are great because of the performence.
