Story behind the song
EXPLANATION: Tear that negativity right out of your heart!! Smash it on the floor and burn it to the ground! I wrote this song when I was going through a tough time when I was studying and battling on a certain project. I wanted to give up. The other students were rocking and I did not know what to do. Eventually I came up with a cool idea and did not do too bad. This song is about staying positive and being focused at the task at hand. Don’t give up!
Lyrics
Another punch and we are on the ground, it feels like I am falling down. This fight it seems we can’t win, feelings of self doubt from within. Another spoken word and a broken soul, is left alone, afraid and nowhere to go. These decisions that have left us here -has stolen our pride and given us fear. It’s times like these when we seem we can’t go on, in our lives energize and keep it strong. See it through and don’t let them win and lets begin a new life of freedom. It’s times like these when we seem we can’t go on, in our lives energize and keep it strong. See it through and don’t let them win and let’s begin a new life of positive thinking. All alone and nowhere to go, no one is around that can give you hope. Your soul was taken and it’s time to claim it back, from all of those that want to see you crack. Learn to walk when all they do is run. Discover what it means to know freedom. To understand what life really means and from what society sells us as our dreams. Your freedom comes from positive thinking.
