Story behind the song
Originally conceived by watching my teenage daughter go through the emotional extremes of romance over the course of about 15 minutes, it changed into a song about a meth addict I watched come to the surface for help only to disappear under the surface a short time later. Initial response to the latter was that it was too depressing, so I went back to the original inspiration
