Welcome, there isn't much to say that would make you understand what I do better than just letting you know who I am, which is Jay. I'm the kind of guy who would rather stay inside and write then go outside and play, forever. I'm the kind of guy who falls in love with almost everything, finds it hard to capture it all in a song so has to keep on going. I may be wrong but for me, a good songwriter can't be one that sits back and smells the coffee and relaxes, a real songwriter is basically (in a nice way) tormented by creation, and that is me.

Story behind the song
This song was written specifically for this occasion, I played it on the bus while our group of people was travelling down the highway heading into Manhattan. We all carried the equipment into the UN building, had to go through xray machines, etc. It was a great day, an emotional day and I certainly enjoyed myself. There we were, Jackie and I, singing with 300 people gathered around a microphone singing along. It was a great feeling and I'm glad we have it captured. To anyone that was there, thank you for a job well done, thanks for listeneing to the song over and over in order to get it into your heads and most of all I'm glad you liked the song.
