Max & Sue Hill are known as Continental Divide in the Colorado Springs area. We play Country/Western mixed with 50's/60's and Motown-depending on the venue. Gre
Max & Sue Hill, known as "Continental Divide", have been playing music in the Colorado Springs area for many years. Max has played in local bands since his teens. Eventually, Max became lead guitarist for the Legend Band, a top Colorado Springs act. Sue studied classical piano as a young child and was introduced to country music when she began playing with Max and his band. They have been writing and playing music ever since! For our fellow musicians: Max plays a Gibson Dove, and Fender Big Apple Stratocaster. Sue plays a Yamaha piano. The recording was made on a Roland VS-1880. Story behind the song
While on my favorite hiking trail one day it occured to me that these huge blackbirds always seem to circle overhead about halfway up...as if to welcome me. I began to look forward to this each time I went up and this melody came to me on one of those hikes.
