Story behind the song
When I was a teen, I used to walk through our neighborhood alone at night, wondering about the families behind each lit window. What must it be like to have someone to love...to spend time with, who would listen and understand. Now that I'm grown, with a husband, children, and the dearest of friends, that loneliness has strangely returned. Life is always so busy that we seem to simply shuffle past one another. The people I love never seem to have time to just sit and let me mine out the treasures of who they really are. There are things about me that nobody will ever know or understand....except for the One who created me. With all He has to do, he's never to busy to listen, and He longs for me to know Him intimately. The Creator of the Universe has time for me.
