I've been caught right in the middle
and I must admit I don't know how to handle it
seems the world has let me down
and I must admit I really can't get a grip on things
last time I saw things they all started spinning

I was lost, sat in an alley
didn't picture me and anyone at all around
I picked my mind up out of the gutter
lightning flashed and marbles threw themselves to me
wet me like a lake, turned cold, and I was spinning
