Story behind the song

This is a departure - Al's girlfriend Renee wrote the lyric, and then Al wrote the music. It's a country tune about the end of a relationship, and the author starting over once more. Al had this in his vault for a long time, and brought it to me to help develop. I laid down the instrumental tracks on the Tascam PS5, and then Al did a lead and backup vocal. He would have preferred a female to do the backup, but where none was available, he stretched himself to reach what he wanted there. Fortunately, his recovery was successful!
