Basically a formulaic pop song with a guitar solo in it. Not bad. My second vocal piece.

Dean Morrison, a solo guitarist/singer-songwriter, is about what you'd describe him as at this point. Mneh, whatever.
I am an independent, so far non-profit guitarist/singer, and I like a variety of styles. As far as singing goes, I can't do much at this point, I've only got one completed song, but I have done several instrumental tunes of both electric and acoustic. All my recording is done at home, on my PC.

Story behind the song
Plagued with etceteritis and a busted lip, I ended up writing this song about this girl I was kinda into, but was too nice to throw her a curveball, and in the end decided against it because the grass always seems greener on the other side, but not really in reality.
Lyrics
In another place and time, I would tell you nothing but the truth I'd step across the line, and one day maybe I'd tell you that I loved you And now and then I'd talk about the things I'd never said before I'd set your world on fire, 'be your whore for all that you adore But there is nothin' I could say That could take me from my parallel reality It's always greener on the other side Love can maybe coincide with me Well I know what you're sayin' here and baby it's gettin' harder to resist Lord, take me from these familiar years and bring me to a world that don't exist Oh, only on the other side is the rose as sweet by any other name So baby, won't you close your eyes we'll open up this bottle of champaign But hold on, I've changed my mind it can only be defined in a parallel reality all the love that I could bring it still wouldn't mean a thing to me If you said that you loved me I would never let you out of my sight until I said goodnight No. Forget that. I don't mean that. Don't be dumb enough to think that Take me back to where I used to be --solo-- "On the outside lookin' in" doesn't justify this Parallel reality It's never greener on the other side love can never coincide with me
