Hey, My name is Mitch Lavin and I'm a guitar teacher/songwriter from Chicago. I've been playing guitar about 20 years and actually get to make my living with the instrument. I consider myself extremely lucky to be able to do what I do and I don't take it for granted. It's fun to take someone who has never held and instrument and turn them into a player. I consider it a life changing moment for them. I really just like writing and recording in my home studio and posting the songs for others to enjoy (I hope).

Lyrics
Where have you gone my friend, 'cause I need you here. I've been thinking about times that you were near. I see your face in the mirror, things seem so true. Now I know I'm still lovin' you. To let go is to have faith in time, and this I must do To let go is to admit that I don't control you And this I must do So do what you gotta do Have faith in the way No matter where you are If you stop and listen You can hear me sing Wishes can come true and I'm still loving you Where have you gone my friend No one to hear me play What I would give to walk into the room and hear you say Play that guitar for me Mr. Guitar Man I'm still lovin' you I'm your biggest fan Chorus
