Story behind the song
Written about my summer camp, Echo Hill Ranch, deep in the hill country of central Texas. It's a place where nature runs wild, where everyone can be a kid again, and where I learned some of the most important lessons of my life. It's a strong community that has thrived for over fifty years. I still go back most summers, and I leave feeling refreshed. It's always nice to get back to my roots...
