Artist picture
For fans of nine inch nails, tool, nirvana, sonic youth, faith no more, tomahawk, led zeppelin, pink floyd, melvins,
Mannequin is an independent, experimental, industrial rock band. My music has been described as dark & disturbing, but simultaneously beautiful and honest. Full of revenge for scornful lovers, as well as disgust, self loathing, and regret. The debut album, "Denial Fixation" was finished in 2002. "Straining the Retina" is a concept album started in 2002, and although never officially released, the songs have slowly been surfacing in different forms. "Worn" is the current album for the songs I'm releasing now. I'm looking at releasing it physically and/or digitally later this year. Also see my page on myspace:

Lyrics
cage me into this hollowed soul, before I get to deep into thought where I'd finally find - the truth you've twisted and keep shadowed from the eyes of the weak, defending your life from the ways of the meek The ethics of society, have lost to the progress of technology. Everyone has succumb to this torture, to this destructive circle of life sell me consumption, and teach me corruption there's no other way I'd buy into your lies sell me a dream and fucking make me believe convince me I need all your anger and greed The ethics of society, have lost to the progress of technology. Everyone has succumb to this torture, to this destructive circle of repetitive life sell me my fear and my failure to prosper convince me to follow your commerce to sorrow sell me my death and fucking ration my breath gave me an affection for endless deception you've poisoned our future, and murdered our fathers "there's no other way" - you've made things so clear cage me into this hollowed soul, before I get to deep into thought where I'd finally find - the truth you've twisted and keep shadowed from the eyes of the weak, defending your life from the ways of the meek make us succumb, and convince us we're numb; take away our lives, we hardly wanted to live now is there a reason, to uphold your treason? millions are made off our pain - now in season
