For fans of nine inch nails, tool, nirvana, sonic youth, faith no more, tomahawk, led zeppelin, pink floyd, melvins,
Mannequin is an independent, experimental, industrial rock band. My music has been described as dark & disturbing, but simultaneously beautiful and honest. Full of revenge for scornful lovers, as well as disgust, self loathing, and regret. The debut album, "Denial Fixation" was finished in 2002. "Straining the Retina" is a concept album started in 2002, and although never officially released, the songs have slowly been surfacing in different forms. "Worn" is the current album for the songs I'm releasing now. I'm looking at releasing it physically and/or digitally later this year. Also see my page on myspace:

Lyrics
like the fetus in the womb isolated and desperate seperated and intimate like the beaten child in the corner of the room what could ever fill this hole? another color-coded snap-on-soul!? in daily situations most of us pretend to be the closest friends constant denial, farce and lies fake smiles and good-byes amazing how we stomach, the desolation in - the others' eyes your're just a whisper in the wind hold the hate within we medicate, just to stimulate - to procrastinate, the inevitable ending... infinite pretending I see you everyday... you're meaningless to me in every way we're all alone here... because of fear - of letting go, of these constraints, that leave us so - buried in these deep black holes each and every day we implay and convey we withdraw and then foray retreat just to invade to hear you pretend, to adore us, and your interest in us it's a lie that always sends us to a place we cannot trust
