This is about is about living with love, revenge and dying for it... Actually wanting to die if you cant have it.
Story behind the song
It's kind of revengeful, and about all the thoughts you have from losing someone and just thinking I either want to love or I don't want to live with this "what feels like a metal rod through my chest".
I wrote the song with really only one long verse and one chorus, and that is for two reasons.
1. I like using powerful words and sayings.
There are a lot of sayings people say that are very destructive with out knowing it.
"this thing can not happen"
Like the word things shows up a lot because people are so concerned about these insignificant things that are just stupid thoughts of "Your Image, or gods or political Ideas" Moral images that make people give up love and hate it, and they become ashamed of there humanity for it.
"It" is another word. When people can't say they love someone that call it an it, It's not real, it can't be, it can not take place, it's not right.
and 2, it's a spell, said repeatedly like an incantation... That's why the initials R F D are at the bottom of the wraith... It's written in Wiccan... R F D means wraith, and that is how I think of myself, a ghost that can not be part of the world ... but I do like to make loud noises and let people know I exist, especially with my guitar.
