Story behind the song
This song was written to piss off my friend Ackerman. My brother and I always make fun of him because he likes Florida State (who suck) and Greg (who is short.) The Munchies = Greg and Ackerman's crappy band. The Smoothies = Ackerman's and my crappy band. Anyways, Ackerman left me to be in his crappy band The Munchies because he thought it would lead to bigger and better things, but he was DEAD wrong. The Munchies never recorded one song and quickly grew apart, while Conflict of Interest has made a full CD that everyone hates. Therefore, if Ackerman had stayed with me in The Smoothies, we would have been HUGE (right...) Of course, the irony of the song is the line (speaking about Ackerman), "You think you can sing, but you really suck," because I can't sing worth crap either.
