Dean Morrison, a solo guitarist/singer-songwriter, is about what you'd describe him as at this point. Mneh, whatever.
I am an independent, so far non-profit guitarist/singer, and I like a variety of styles. As far as singing goes, I can't do much at this point, I've only got one completed song, but I have done several instrumental tunes of both electric and acoustic. All my recording is done at home, on my PC.

Story behind the song
I had trouble writing this song until an English project about this poem came up, so I took a few ideas and lines from it, and it turned into this. The acoustic guitar was tuned to DADGAD, and the drums were made with samples. This is my first vocal piece.
Lyrics
Verse 1 Well, why the hell was I sittin’ there, Sleepin’ in the chair? ‘Been drivin’ around this old ghost town, And I’m up in the air. Did I dare? From the yellow smoke that rose up from the east, Should I release the beast within, Or descend back to the feast Can you take me high above, To rise above Chorus What I say? No way. I know it all to well, but this, I don’t know what I’m lookin’ at, Just a shadow on the wall. Am I outta my body or outta my mind, How am I to change yours if I can’t change mine? But you’d say, “That’s not it at all, Not what I meant at all.” Verse 2 Lookin’ back, I have seen a million things gone wrong, And I have put it off For far too long, But in a minute there is time, Enough to change my mind, So I’ll turn back down the hallway, I wouldn’t dare. Can you take me high above, To rise above Chorus What I say? No way. I know it all to well, but this, I don’t know what I’m lookin’ at, Just a shadow on the wall. Am I outta my body or outta my mind, How am I to change yours if I can’t change mine? But you’d say, “That’s not it at all, Not what I meant at all.” Bridge Well, my hair is goin’ grey And my body’s way too thin, Like the strength I have within, I grow old, I grow old, Wearin’ the bottom of my trousers rolled After all that I’ve been told, Shall I let all unfold? Take me high above, To rise above.
