Two Left Feet - Christopher Lane
memphis boston film chris film score lane christopher wind synth
Boston/Memphis based student and film composer.
I am a student at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts pursuing a double major of Film Scoring and Music Synthesis. I have been writing music since I was a teenager and am constantly learning new tools, being inspired by new artists, and expanding my musical palette through the wealth of information I am learning at school and through my own practice. I love writing music and sound, so I don't merely hope that one day I find myself in the field of film audio, but I instead intend to push myself until that hope is realized.

Story behind the song
This was originally an assignment in a music class at the college I go to, but I decided to make it hard on myself by being the first tune I've written in an odd-meter time signature (basically, it's harder to tap your feet to, hence the title, "Two Left Feet", which is a double meaning: 1) As in the saying he has "two left feet" from falling over or being clumsy -this being my first attempt at this kind of song made it a little clumsy at first. 2) It also means "two left feet" as in left behind because you are tapping along fine and then all of a sudden it's different and your feet are left in the dust! Enjoy!
