Story behind the song
Our church has a five-part mission statement, "We exist to worship God, share Christ, serve others, train believers, and build community." We would like everyone to remember and take to heart this statement. What better way than in song!
My intention is for this to be an opening song in our service that not only recounts the mission statement, but acts as a bold declaration by the church body of our belief that God is great, and can do great things of which we can be a part if we so choose.
