Inspiration can hit at the strangest times. Lately I've been inspired by some pretty offbeat memories, experiences, readings and ideas. My hope is that I can blend them with the words in my heart and stake my claim of originality. That being said, this is overflow parking. Here, have a seat.

Story behind the song

It's mostly about the depression of putting your faith into something really strongly and then losing everything. Written in 10 minutes during a political science lecture on November 3rd. The music had been kicking in around in several incarnations for at least a year (most of my music tends to hang around for a while because I'm so slow to come up with good riffs).
