Madness; love for a woman; and a passion to express the creative fire within all come to mind with Van Gogh. I quite often write by meditating on a subject and letting that experience of my perception of the subject, take me where it wants to go. Or sometimes, I'll just make it up as I go along. A bit like the above really. I have no idea how this came about, other than it came with the name, Vincent.
