Blood Stained Glass is an eclectic music project by multi-instrumentalist Ben, who plays all instruments and sings. Blood Stained Glass's music explores genres ranging across surf guitar, progressive rock, electronica, death metal, classical piano, folk, and more. Overall it is a third metal, a third rock, and a third electronica. Story behind the song
Back in 2000, I recorded it, but I couldn't get the mix right, and I couldn't get the vocals right, either. So I released it as an instrumental mono mix. I recently found the original master disc, and beefed up the mix. No instruments were re-recorded, just bounced to "pseudo-stereo" and hit with a wave hammer to thicken and expand the sound. The vocals were written during the genocide in Rwanda in 1994, and recorded just over ten years later, on November 2nd, 2004.
