This is my version of Manila-based goth rock band The Late Isabel's carrier single from their debut album, "Doll's Head."

Eudoxia defies all stereotypes of a young ambitious artist new to the music scene. With the piano as her principal instrument, Eudoxia makes a unique dark/gothic sound paired with unique haunting vocals. In all its totality Eudoxia's music may not be called rock, but it is heavily influenced/inspired by rock's sub-genre, goth.

Story behind the song
I was asked by my close friend to cover "Doll's Head" with piano. At first, I thought the idea was ridiculous, knowing perfectly that the original "Doll's Head" is a dark, yet upbeat guitars-and-drums filled rock song. After a while, however, I thought I'd try it out. I wanted to shape "Doll's Head" with my own hands. The product was a slow and eery version of the song and I practically looked to Tori Amos' rendition of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" for inspiration.
Lyrics
I did what I had to do A madding voice told me to Rip the head off the baby doll lying in bed out the window Down, down, down the street Off the end of the block Where a council of cats chit-chat "Go rip it too!" chorus: la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la... Oh, look at those baby blues One claw buried down those baby blues See her head tossed around and about, pretty pout What a girl! See her curls like a can of worms And she squirmed "I saw you do that!" Don't ruin my bed; you're dead! (chorus) There goes my doll's head Quite dead Look at those baby blues Two claws gouged out those baby blues! (chorus)
