Massive track! strong, emotional, and classically influenced melody with a driving beat and deep, rolling basslines. very Gouryella-esque. *updated: 11-03-2004* now only a low quality available, sorry.

a conjure of trance, breaks, ambient, and other electronic music.
// also produce under my name which is my new alias, * This young and talented 20 year-old enjoys drawing, singing, eating, fooling around, and even sleeping; but in this case, producing music. A Cambodian descent. He has always been a fan of electronic dance music -- including House, Techno. But of course enjoyed some of the Pop & RnB stuff that plays on the radio too (which how the singing was brought up). Then it hit 1998, when he discovered Trance music. It all picked up from there on (along with various Asian pop music as a side-interest). Later years he discovered more electronic music such breakbeat/breaks, electro/new wave, UK garage/2-step, drum & bass/jungle, and ambient/chillout/downtempo. As we get closer to now, he has learned so much about its scene and culture, and have learned to respect these genres very much as well as all other genres of music. By now, he's grown so deep into the music much so that by producing music, he is able to portray his thoughts and emotions; the same way he would express himself in his artwork as well.

Story behind the song
After hearing a track on Digitally Imported internet radio (www.di.fm), Square - Nova (4 Strings Remix), it immediately caught my attention. The melody was very strong and emotional, but it lacked something or parts of it was on a different note that i would want it to. So i guess this track, "Soriya", was inspired by it or could be an altered re-make. The reason behind this new alias of mine is recently, i found that "Sakhora" is the name of my dad's very own small record label. I assume it means a type of flower since most Cambodian names are of types of flowers (even my own name), while "Soriya" means "sun". I've always wanted "epic" titles for such strong, emotional tracks like Ferry Corsten's Gouryella project, so i hope this one fits it as well. Also, the track has a very similar theme to Gouryella's "Ligaya". RS Trax // Roth
