Obsolete Donkey is the solo project of Jaron Eldon. Jaron Eldon is a teenager living in a small town in Southern California. He is trying to preserve something that seems to have lost popularity, and that is having a texture, an atmosphere in his music, and to have some form of a theme in his music and albums so that you have actually been somewhere by the end of listening to the entire album. It's music with a purpose!

Story behind the song
I believe that this was the second song I wrote and completed. It was a gigantic step in the way I go about making music because of that weird guitar in the background. I had this fun little piano bit that I described as, “circus music”. I messed around on the guitar and then reversed it, and then discovered the reverb and delay functions of my music software. I was thrilled. So that’s how the guitar came about. The glockenspiel is actually, more or less, random. I just programmed different notes arbitrarily, and then added an echo in which the note is transposed one note higher, so you get that very out-of-tune sound. The laugh is indeed me, I listened to the song and I was cracking up, so I recorded myself listening to it, and that laugh survived. The song is meant to have a funny feel to it, but I have had many people say that it is very creepy.
