Lyrics
Stars in the Sky Surely the rain would come for feeding the Three sisters and the People would live. Everyone ran to gather their clay pots and put them in places to catch the rain. Except for one maiden, who gazed up at the sky. She was beautiful, innocent and peeked Kokopelli’s curiosity. “Why do you not gather your pots and place them to catch the rain?” he asked. “I heard you playing the flute as you came through the canyon and it told me that you would bring the rain, “ she said. “So you are the one,” he cried and placed in her arms his flute still wrapped like a child, as a symbol that she would share his music and be the mother of the child that would lead the people back to the stars. Kokopelli spoke of a time before creation when we were all just sparks in the Great Mystery’s eternal flame and that one day like fireflies we would return to the Great Star Nation.
