Girl Without a Name

This is the story of a "nameless girl" looking for a friend. She finds one in Jesus...but is turned away from the church. I'm currently working on a rewrite for this song.

It's just me, myself, and I! A band would be nice.... but I could be a single artist too... wherever God leads I guess:)
Hi! My name is Laura Dillon. I'm a singer/songwriter in Tucson, Arizona looking for ears who will listen to the message that I have to share. Most of my songs are centered on Jesus Christ and the Word of God. My goal is to touch people's lives and bless them with the message that God has given me to share. Right now I'm looking for ways to get there, but being a full time college student time and money is tight. But regardless of circumstances, I trust that God will help me and lead me and that His Will will be done!

Story behind the song
One day I just sat down and wrote this at my computer. I felt as if I was writing about something that really happened. It's likely that some place, somewhere, this has happened to someone. As far as I know, this is a fictional story menat to portray the hypocrisy of the church.
Lyrics
This is the story of a girl Who was alone in the world Used by her so called “friends” She was at life’s end No one to turn to No where to run No one to show her the way to the Son, until she heard a song Passing by a church She heard voices sing “Glory, Glory, Hallelujah, Glory, Glory, Hallelujah!” “Glory to what In this forsaken world?” She thought “All I’ve seen is cruel and selfish What is there to praise In these shaken days? Must be something I’ve not seen yet.” And she heard the words: “Glory, Glory, Hallelujah, Glory, Glory, Hallelujah! Fall down and worship me The Lord God almighty Fall down on your knees And sing to me With you heart With your soul For I will forever be your savior!” She laughed And she cried She could feel the love inside She walked through the door The choir stopped and they stared At this poor forsaken child dressed in rags And they turned her away She wept and she cried Cold and empty inside She died….. Glory, Glory, Hallelujah, Glory, Glory, Hallelujah Glory, Glory, Hallelujah, Glory, Glory, Hallelujah!
