hiphop rap rb new music manchester uk hip hop snoop dre north sheffield nox no xcuse northern hip hop
The 'nox boyz', a.k.a no Xcuse, are a collective of producers, rappers, singers and songwriters from Sheffield, England. We don't like to be classed as UK hip hop or Rap or even R'n'B because we just make good 'music' that everyone can enjoy. We have a wide range of influences which shows in our music. Some of the mans like Rock, others like Jazz and we all love, respect and admire the greats that paved the way for all of us. There's un-officially 13 members, with 2 generations, i guess, 'cos the ages range between 16 and 31..... There are 2 ladies that ride with the nox boyz. Candice and Cat bring 2 different flavours with their vocals.... Then there's the Young Offenders.... Captain, Lyric, Yung blak, Jigga, and Sandman. WATCH THIS SPACE!! Seven is the founder-member and the Centre of our outfit. He single-handledly selected, schooled and trained a force to be reckoned with. The rest need no intruductions and no Xcuses.. J' Kastro, Murda 1, Sincear, Tez Kidd and Undakuva have been on road for the longest time, puttin' in groundwork, strugglin', writin', fightin', doin' shows, gettin' hated on, gettin tighter as unit and growin into big men with kids and bills to pay...... You just have to listen to the tracks and then you'll understand.. GOD willing.

Lyrics
Verse 1 I Stick to rap like static electricity; I bring this with some high intensity. Keep it low with the density. The breakthrough of UK rap, you want to mention me. But don’t forget all about the under ground team. I was only 13 when I started gripping mic’s. When am up on the stage, I like to keep the crowd hype. I’m all up in the club with the champers on ice, with the ladies shacking Out, yes they looking real nice. Beats as sick as these, with some technicalities. I distribute my music and don’t abuse it. I came a long way from dropping the same line/ Over and over again at the same time. Now I’m in mainstream, all up in the mainline. I maintain a steady pace as I drop this. I’m making music that everybody can rock with. Young kid only 17 yo, and I aint even done. If it wasn’t for the people in my crew. I probably wouldn’t be doin the things that I do. And the things in life that push me to the edge. It’s got me thinking all these Rap lyrics in my head. So Hook Why am I always on my grind to make it through? Why am I always struggling to make it through? Why am I always on my grind to make it through? Why am I Why am I. Verse 2 I was one third of the adolescent crew. Potential to breakthrough. But we all on different levels. Now if it wasn’t for Allah. Id be seeing devils. Now you turn up the bass easy on the treble. Back in the days I use to do some crazy things. Im reminiscing and contemplating on how lucky I was. I was a player nut nowadays I concentrate on rhyme laying My nannan goes to church praying that im going to make it. When opportunity comes round she says I got to take it. I tell my life how it is cause there’s no point in faking. Risk taking, FEDS waiting. How may mans them is locked up down in weatherby. Rushed some the same time as my man John Gotti, When he come out we all going to have a party. I’ve seen sounds want to clash with the will power. Make you wilt like a flower. And leave you stubbed I be your darling bud of May. I don’t just do this for the pay. Im doing this like everyday. Us rap scientists bring more appliances. And dam I know your buying this. Hook Verse 3 Yo my city aint safe no more. I see corruption and devastation. The whole nation is imperil of anger and frustration. Falling apart A breakdown in communication tears us apart. Divided between believers and the no-believers. That’s why I walk with the angle’s sniper devils creeping. They think that’s money freedom. Fuck it. For ease of breathing. That’s why we do what we got to do. Cause we want to eat But still there’s Macky D’s on these third world streets. U2’s got it right when they talk on beat. It’s like a concrete jungle out here. People afraid to go places. Eyo Its sick out here. But for my family’s sake. My people show no fear. Praying for better days. And better ways But there shall never be peace. Until this world is deceased. And paradise is the place to be believe me. So Hook (Repeat till fade) All lyrics written by Javan “Kastro” Wright NOXCUSE, NOX RECORDS © (P) 2000-2004
