We used to have pride,
We used to have privacy,
The PATRIOT Act repealed all that,
That's a fact,
Check out the stats,
We deport people now like we did way back
with the Alien and Sedition Acts ,
Think about it,
The Naturalization Act,
You can't be a citizen 'til you've lived here for fourteen years,
It used to be five,
Keep in mind that the majority of the politicians favoring this act
still spoke with an accent,
Guess they couldn't backtrack
to where they came from,
Their British roots a few years done,
They just got dumb,
Two, the Alien Act,
Check the facts
cuz this act was supported by conjecture and false allegations,
Judging who is detrimental is merely an opinion,
Think back just a few years to the Salem witch hunt,
Third is the Alien Enemies Act,
What can be said about this act other than it was merely an excuse to get rid of foreigners,
Justified through war,
It was used as a crutch to arrest and deport
those considered enemies
You better be a friend or leave,
You're with us or against us,

He's the only way in life
Last but not least is the Sedition Act,
The last act to pass in the crackdown on legal immigration,
A principle our nation was founded on just twenty years prior,
Another infringement on free speach,
Making it legal to arrest those who spoke their minds,
How does this relate to today,
It's the same damn thing,
Just worded different ways,
It's come full circle through the PATRIOT Act,
Through questionable practices,
Just one more way hidden agendas are envisioned,
One more method to promote Christian fundamentalism,
Yo, we ain't down with all that,
Let's do all we can to stand up and fight back,
And let's show all the people
that true patriots hate the PATRIOT Act
