Story behind the song
I think we might have recorded this in one take, utilizing prepped material. We used the on-board sequencer on Frank's Casio SK-1 sampler for the sax sample pattern and embelishments. We also recorded 2 arbitrary percussion loops of different lengths to phase against eachother, using answering machine greeting cassettes on 2 tape decks. With these things running on their own, Frank played sax (brilliantly IMO) and I played synth and sampler (percussion sample). In 2004 I did a bit of remastering and split the track into 2 parts to make it easier to digest.
