He has lived in New Jersey, New York and Toronto. Finding it difficult to develop a sense of home and stability, G. Stokes often delved into his own frame of creative consciousness, inevitably shaping his current charismatic persona and lyrical skill.
Story behind the song
I wrote this the day after my fiance (now wife) told me we were going to have a baby. It written before my son's birth but recorded after therefore the words of the actual song (not the intro, outro or adlibs) are open because we hadn't known who was coming. I think this is a good thing because I feel this way any father or mother at that fact can identify. It was beautifully produced by my boys Agape 181 who have worked with such great talent as Glenn Lewis, Ray Robinson, Carlos Morgan and more. Colin and Ceazaro really threw emotion into this track, making the feeling just burst out. Last but not least the track was completely blessed by Chris Rouse. You'll never meet a more humble genius in your live time. The man has got the great soul I've ever had the pleasure to see, hear or be around, and is so talented everyone who meets him is in awe.
