Story behind the song
One time I walked into Julian's room and he was being a sad emo kid, crying alone in his room, curled up in the fetal position. The only way he would get cheered up was if I agreed to write him a song... the rest is history.

Paperback
Something’s not right here.
I found myself today, a paperback prince,
surrounded by tragedy; the writing’s on my wrist
and all signs point to “yes” for me.
Don’t leave me here alone, I can’t slip away
From here or anywhere else, the story ends the same, anyway.
The picture that they’ve painted, l
I’m hanging by a limb
And every word you’ve ever said, nauseously it
Pulls me into you, I can hardly recall the times
We fell back broken and made ourselves
Fall down and waste away, loose yourself another day
I won’t turn back again, I can’t move on and I can’t stand still
I try to make me whole again; to make us whole again
Take you’re words away from me.
Don’t leave me here alone, I can’t slip away.
We fell down broken once we’ll make ourselves again.
