This is a song in response to the alleged "Bad Boy" offers from my Message Board, a solo remix of my failed collabo with J Panic
Charismatic, hyper white MC and singer from manhattan making hilarious and sophisticated rhymes as well as complex melodies bending rock and rap
A charismatic, eccentric, and funny rhyme sayer and original producer, music drawn from everything I don't like. Described by one as an "underground hip-rock legend" Influenced by all kinds of modern rock and hip-hop, but mostly alternative. Member of REBELoution with Kadavir
Story behind the song
This is inspired by a real (or fake) online attempt at signing by Bad Boy Records, combined with a verse I penned for the original Our Town, which I was not allowed to post due to repect for J Panic. But this beat was TOO good, so I decided to make this an official REMIX, to be featured on my full-length CD
Lyrics
I’m not a Bad Boy, but that’s how I’ve been classified
Hear diddy’s into signing me, that’ll leave me wide eyed
Who would have thought that a kid like me
Would have a chance at becoming the next huge MC
I’ve been heard by Malik Jones and the whole Bad boy crew
Who knows what a kid and his mic, pen, and pad can do
I don’t know I dreaming it’s seeming they see talent
That we could get what so many unfortunate others haven’t
P Diddy murders tracks as a super producer
Should I go my own way or should I just follow you, sir?
It’s Mr Jones and me, creating a hip hop extrordinare
With the objective of breathing into hip-hop some fresh air
Am I gonna be what they need, the face of the new breed
Of hip hop, or will I flop, we’ll se eventually
But I’m that new white MC BU be talking about
I’ve been on top since I first started, I never lost clout
Chorus
I wanna welcome you all to my town
It’ll never change, not anyhow
And I’ll never change for anything
Just listen to the words I sing
Verse 2:
Ok you say ur into me,
Be aware relationships don’t come quite naturally
U got new rhymes, and you say you’re down
But you don’t wanna mess with this boy from Stuyvesant Town
I’m playing Dr Evil and (J Panic/Kadavir) is Number Two
When we come on the mike there’s no telling what we’re gonna do
Watch when we come through, you’ll hear something you ain’t heard before
It’s only a matter of time before we go on tour
Now let me drop a little science on your nasty brains
You’ll be getting new flows from us whether it shines or rains
You hear us on the Internet Charts, don’t change the station
I’ll be goin straight from underground to heavy Rotation
Say what you say, come what may we’ll be here
Right here in NYC, this is a sound u wanna be near
If flows are temp I’m bringing serious heat
I’m single, why don’t u come to me on the street
Chorus
Verse 3:
You really don’t know what goes on here in my mind
I’m never losin my position, mentals bless you with rhyme
I’m coming straight outta Manhattan, and I don’t mean Harlem
The parts of my lyrics will always add to the same sum
You can’t blame me for rapping with my social status
I use intelligence in mine, though I’m not the baddest
I just stay true to reality, I got issues you see
That no one could truly comprehend unless they were me
I’m wasting no time, my ethic is 110 percent
Even if my music just comes from energy I gotta vent
My momma said I could do anything, I could live my dream
We’ll see if Bad Boy and SHRM4 could be the ultimate team
