Story behind the song
i was asked to play at a vfw . having been new to this i went to the bar and had a few drinks. then off to the gig. i played 2 sets and the lady behind the bar said they'd had enough. so i went back to the bar and folks said. what you get fired? i said yeah and showed them the 80.00 in my pocket from the tip jar. seems the lady behind the bar was mad i was getting her tip money ...the folks loved it and i went on to play many private parties for the great veterans...barn.
