The year is 2002 and if you were a kid growing up in Vancouver you belonged to one of two groups. You were either a "soc" or a "musician". "Soc" is pronounced like society, and means just that: money, nice cars, nice homes and a bright future. Musician’s are the poor kids from the bad side of town with no future and no real hope. Always at each other's throats, the two warring groups fight to save face and prove themselves.
Paul is a Musician, tough and confused, yet sensitive behind his bold front. Since his parents' death, his loyalties have been to his band Simon, Carl & Chris, the rough, swinging, boys from the wrong side of the tracks. Join “Do it For Johnny” on their journey as it swiftly envelops them into in a turbulent & entertaining chain of events.
