The second collab with the amazing Lana J Albert. I had it easy on this one, just guitar, she did the whole thing herself...and she totally blew my mind...classical blues rock anyone? Does such a genre exist? It does now.

Artist picture
Evan Paul is a very unique artist. His music is totally original, multi-genre, mostly acoustic, new age, easy listening, uplifting and spiritual.
I'm a Canadian songwriter musician and have recently released my first CD, "Spirits in the Sky". It's an instrumental, classical guitar album with sweeteners such as flute and strings. After decades of performing in various bands and as solo, I have finally settled on recording and writing, and only playing live ocasionally. Result, is a sweet, easy listening and spiritually uplifting work that defies any genre placement. It's pure acoustic and very melodic. Also, one will notice vocal songs and collaborations with various world artists. Presently, my latest CD "Eklektika" is active. It's one of the most original multi-genre instrumental album ever created. Unlike my previous, "Spirits in the Sky" collection, this one has percussion, a little more punch, but still retains that Evan Paul style of classical guitar playing. Enjoy!!!

Story behind the song
It was Lana J Albert, one of the most talented ladies in the Indieworld and a dear friend who sent me this track. I had it easy, just played guitar, but she invented a new genre with this, classical blues...this is the follow up to our very successful "Here and Now"...I'm sure it won't be the last.

This is not "Blues"...just think Robert Johnson turned over ! Beautiful arrangement...could be a quartet? Chamber music.

Haunting, and beautiful! Immediately, engaging... Beautiful track, Evan! Love your guitar - perfectly complimentary to the dynamics and shifting moods! [Hit "Vocals" out of habit]

Always a fun adventure collaborating - you two do it well! The strings and piano are meditation for the soul. And the guitar adds that romance - excellent production by talented artists ;^)) Cheers -

Beatyful piece. Great changes in harmonies in both the guitar and melody. And that violin is superb! There's a lot of heart in this peformance.

Saw this in Blues Rock and came over. This is a beauty and the music just takes you away. Was not hearing blues and then the electric licks kick in. Evan you are quite the musican and the both of you bring so much to the table. Nice work.

So beautiful and tranquil. Your music is all so extraordinarily magnificent, Evan. I hope you are fine and happy. The weather here is cooler because it rained. How are you coming on your building and photography? Have a great evening, Hugs and Blessings, Lekzee

It is moves I play on my keyboard and right down my alley in a soft, slow blues tempo. I love how you two build and build on this song. This one is done with so much passion.
