Story behind the song
With the rise of cell phones in popular culture, everyone has their number, everyone is always saying "call me!" putting their number in Instant Message profiles, away messages and such. Tied into my feeling that everyone really "just" wants a friend I feel that everyone just loves having their phone ring.
