A Blues tune that Gordon West and I co-wrote when we were in Blue Rock Project. I will be recording an all-new version of this song with Kim and I performing it as a duet with our bandmates in 2x12 for our new album this summer.

Story behind the song
When I was in the band Blue Rock Project (1999-2001), we had a truly awesome lead guitar player. One day when we were rehersing his girlfriend came down and asked him to come out side. To make a long story short, he came back in looking upset and when Gordon asked him what happened he just said, "Sometimes I think I wake up just so she can bring me down". Well Gordon started working it up into a song during that practice session, came up with the tune and wrote the first verse. I added the second and third verses later. It bacame a very popular song at our shows. Later I decided record it on my first solo album "40 Days". I performed the vocals and guitar, with Engineer Greg Miske performing the lead guitar, bass, and drum machine programming. Now we're doing this song in 2x12, with Kim performing lead vocals on verse 2, me performing verse 3, and both of us singing on verse 1.
