Story behind the song
I was working in Whistler B.C., and I wanted to tailor a song for one of my idols, Paul Rodgers of Free and Bad Company fame. After composing the song and returning to the mainland I found out that Rodgers was holding a meet and greet session at a local future shop. So, I took my guitar with me, stood in line with the other folks there and when it came my turn I explained how the song came to be and asked if I might perform it for him. He was very kind and told his manager to turn down the P.A that was playing his own music, introduced me to the crowd and away I went. When I finished the song he thanked me and made particular comments about how much he liked the melody and chord progression.
