Hailing from Waterbury, CT, Emptyeye is in fact one 21-year old musician who plays or sings every part on his songs through one means or another. Primarily a bassist, he also sings, plays guitar and uses the magic of technology to place drums into his tracks. Unlike most artists, Emptyeye chooses to commit career suicide by actively staying away from the common 4/4 time signature whenever possible, in true progressive-rock tradition. Yet unlike most proggers, he also eschews the typical three-minute solo sections of the typical prog-rock song, making his music a true enigma.

Story behind the song
An all-bass rendition of the Level 1 theme from Rush N' Attack. The title of the song is just about as awful pun-wise as the title of the game (Keep in mind the game was released in the mid-80s, and your goal is to "DESTROY THE ENEMY'S SECRET WEAPON" and...yeah.), but it's an accurate enough description of the song. The most interesting story probably comes from the introduction. What happened was I hit "select all" in SONAR to move everything from measure 1 to measure 3 with the intention of putting a "siren" in the first two bars. I did it and it sounded like crap, but I couldn't easily move everything to measure 1, so I recorded what you hear as the intro.
Lyrics
Beware the soldier who both rushes and attacks.
