gate defeat the farkus af
You can try to classify Gate, but you'd be hard-pressed. Sure, they're considered one of the top bands in Edmonton's dynamic metal scene, but they're also one of the most creative and adventurous groups in the city. But as Gate, they form a tight bond and create a relationship beyond the music. In their early shows, Gate's impressive musicianship and soaring vocals astonished audiences expecting the same old metal sound. In May 2002, Gate released their first disc, Lost. Thirty-five minutes long, but with only five songs, each track is a exploration of new territory, subtle and strange, soaring and syncopated. Within three months of its release, the band has already moved on to a second run of discs and is now developing new material for a follow-up album Whether you discover Gate on disc or at a live show, you'll realize that this isn't just music, it's a journey of discovery, of time, of life, of
