I believe I've finally discovered what my sound is after about 12 or so years of writing songs and I'm really enjoying personal musical breakthroughs at the moment. having recently discovered the harmonica to use at my solo / acoustic gigs, I have a new respect for 'folky' artists like Paul Kelly and going back to my roots and writing songs influenced by old retro bands like 'Daddy Cool' of Australia, early 70's Elton John, the Who, even the early Ray Charles bluesy/Gospel stuff I hink is Rad. However at the same time I'm enjoying contemporary influences like the black keys, radio head, Coldplay and other modern bands So, I'm just trying to capture my creativity on multi-track recordings at the moment and trying to perform as much as I can. Hopefully I'll be able to save up and record a studio album asap. peace.
