Story behind the song
There was this contest on this here Soundclick site to answer the questoin: "What the fuk is going on?" The winning entry was to have his/her/it's favorite blueWank tune available on this site (see Carmelcorn Song), and have the band improvise a pieca at the next live show. It was at The Cannery, on the outskirts of Farmington, IL July 31- night of the blue Moon. A small (bad timing- Blottopia weekend) but dedicated crowd showed up for the event, the kickoff of the 2004 Gorilla Tour. Frank's Suite, based on his winning entry "If you don't know what's going on, why would you?" became the theme of what turned out to be a thing in 3 parts, most likely because 1) the room was filled with Hawkwind fanatics, 2) they activated the 'special lighting', and 3) Henry drank too much. It began the second set. It was around 12:12 am.
