I struggled for a while over the cover song to use on this project. Kimberly strongly encouraged me to do U2's "Sunday Bloody Sunday" as it fit in well with the protest vibe found in songs like "Jericho" and "Bad Karma". I was a bit skeptical of doing two covers by the same band on two consecutive projects. Imagine seemed to fit in well with the other feel of this project, that of being optimistic in the face of international chaos; hoping that there may be enough people with enough hope and compassion to make the world a better place. John Lennon, who had for a long time been the Beatle that I looked upon with a bit of disdain (during my more conservative and religious years), has become quite a hero for me. Anyone who dropped out of the larger music scene to be with friends and family and to focus on being a stay at home dad is someone that I will respect forever, as I sit here and "Watch the Wheels go round".
