This was my first song. I began to write it with just a simple kicker, hithat, clap and snare part. Then I added tom work and redid the first part. Then I reliezed that I need something to be constent through the song, the melody. I began playing with a really stupid sounding string part. Then I found the string sample that I liked and put that in a rewrote the part again. I needed progression, even in such a short song, so I began entering the elements slowly one at a time, making it more and more complicated as time went by. When it was done I had to find a name. My mom listened to it and simply said, "Walking in spirit." That was the first title. But it didn't feel right. So I changed it to Spirit Walk and God made it evident why it was that.
